A senior move manager supports older adults and their families through every stage of a home move. This includes decluttering, floor planning, sourcing and coordinating removal companies, overseeing moving day, and unpacking and organising the new home.

How do you help with downsizing?

Nicole helps clients sort through their belongings at their own pace — deciding what to keep, gift to family, donate, sell, or discard. She can also arrange collection by charity, auction valuation, or waste clearance.

Do you provide packing services?

Packing is not provided directly, but Nicole works with trusted removal companies and can arrange quotations and coordinate the packing process on your behalf.

Can you help set up my new home?

Yes. Unpacking and organising is available through Settle in Style, a specialist unpacking service. Nicole coordinates this to ensure your new home is organised, functional, and welcoming from day one.

What areas do you cover?

EDIT London is based in East Finchley and primarily covers North London. Nicole also works across Greater London and can support moves in Hertfordshire and nearby areas depending on the project.

Can you support someone with dementia or mobility issues?

Yes. Nicole works sensitively and at the client's own pace, and is experienced in supporting seniors with health conditions or additional needs. Moves of this kind are handled with particular care and patience.

I live outside London but my parent is here — can you still help?

Absolutely. Many clients are adult children coordinating a move on behalf of a parent. Nicole can manage the process on the ground and keep you updated throughout, giving you peace of mind wherever you are.

What if I only need help with part of the move?

The service is entirely flexible. Nicole can assist with just the decluttering stage, just moving day support, or the full process from start to finish — whatever is most helpful.

How much does senior move management cost?

Nicole charges £60 per hour on weekdays and £65 per hour at weekends, with a minimum of 3 hours per session. A free 30-minute consultation is offered to discuss your needs before any commitment.

How long does the moving process take?

This depends entirely on the size of the move and individual circumstances. A detailed timeline is worked out during the initial consultation to ensure everything is planned and nothing is missed.

Once you're in, I work with Settle in Style to unpack and organise your new home from day one so you're not living out of boxes for weeks.
